Are you seeking a challenging, yet rewarding career? A Galleria area lighting manufacturer is seeking an energetic and experienced Project Manager. The responsibilities of the role are as follows:
? Develop and issues bid packages, perform lighting surveys, select and award contractors
? Material crossing - Identify company or sourced item solutions based on survey
? Coordinate purchasing and delivery of materials with labor crews
? Plan and manage daily jobsite activities - cost, quality and customer satisfaction goals
? Ensure all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
? Develop project plans to track progress and health of current projects
? Maintain and manage relationships with clients and associated sales personnel
? Perform risk assessments to minimize risk and meet project goals
? Analyze past and current project performance, and create objectives to improve productivity and profitability
? Manage relationships with vendors associated with ongoing projects
? Oversee project inventory to ensure adequate amount to execute project without strain
? Plan and collaborate with clients on needs/wants to provide project and service required
? Provide ongoing project status to customers and management team

High school diploma required; some college preferred
5+ years' experience in project management
Intermediate software skills (Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook); must be technically savvy; internal system is Oracle-based
MUST be mature and professional and a strong leader with a strong work ethic, character, values and confidence
Strong follow-through, organization, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task/prioritize
Professional image and STRONG communication skills; must provide exemplary customer service
Flexibility and confidentiality are KEY; fast-paced, deadline driven environment
