Our oil & gas client is hiring an Outside Sales / Account Manager on a direct hire basis to work in Houston, TX. As the Outside Sales Account Manager, you will use your customer-focused experience to foster new client relationships and identify new business.

Outside Sales Account Manager Responsibilities
Build and maintain relationships by exhibiting exceptional customer service.
Ensure product meets our customers' specifications and quality standards.
Create quotes and generate purchase orders.
Utilize previous foundry experience to provide value added service to customers.
Solicit RFQs from customers and prospects.
Prepare sales forecast and achieve annual sales targets.
Analyze competition and develop counter strategies.

Outside Sales Account Manager Qualifications
To be considered for the Outside Sales Account Manager position, you will need the following:
3 years' outside sales experience with proven track record of generating revenue and maintaining solid customer base
Experience in manufacturing, materials engineering and quality assurance
Bachelor's degree is a plus
Strong Microsoft Office proficiency
Exceptional communication and presentation skills
Goal-oriented, self-motivated and ability to prioritize
Must be a fast-learner and willing to work with a mentor
Must have a clean driving history
