Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm | Salary: $26 an hour
 
Do you have experience working in Human Resources? Our client in the Galleria Area is seeking an HR Recruiter to join their team! As an HR Recruiter, you will support the Human Resources Director as well as the department of HR in the overall operational functions related to the recruitment process from start to finish. HR Recruiter’s Responsibilities
  • Recruit, interview, and select employees to fill vacant positions
  • Prepare new hire offer letters and packages
  • Follow up with the related clerical aspects of employment, such as completing pre-employment background screens, drug test, and driving record test
  • Notify the department of employees' start dates
  • Act as liaison with area employment agencies and advertising agencies, process and check advertising agency billings, liaison with temporary agencies, and record status of authorized position within the agency
  • Plan and conduct new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward the organization's goals
 
HR Recruiter’s Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Personnel Management or related field required
  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years Talent Acquisition or Recruiting experience required
  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification preferred
  • Advance skills in Microsoft Office
  • Experience in Kronos Workforce Ready preferred
  • Skilled in interviewing and talent evaluation required
  • Strong attention to detail and self-starter
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drugs screen and criminal background check
