As a Semi Sr. Buyer you will manage processes of purchases of materials and services of medium complexity, complying with the standards and procedures of the Company, seeking to optimize prices, times and conditions. In turn, maintain a dynamic relationship with internal customers, ensuring efficient and reliable management.
Receive the requirements of materials and/or services and select suppliers, according to the need in question and considering the particularities of geography
Design the price request and contracting plan, according to the most favorable alternatives for the company, taking into account the procedural peculiarities of geography
Request and analyze quotes from convened suppliers
Carry out detailed preliminary technical analysis of the technical proposals received and get involved in the development of the technical specifications
Prepare comparisons of the proposals submitted to identify the best technical-economic alternative for the company, selecting suppliers according to the need
Negotiate the contracts, guaranteeing the quality of the same, paying special attention to the sizing of risk and exposure associated with the contracting
Generate Purchase Orders and Framework Agreements. Carry out the follow-up of the approval and execution of the same
Actively interact with internal clients and functional areas to guarantee a quality contract
According to the purchase and specialty unit: carry out the activation of the delivery of material (activation process)/control of the structure of the structure of contractors in order to lower cost and the associated risk

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be bilingual in English and Spanish (read, write & speak)
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration or related discipline required
2 - 4 years' experience in purchasing, first class companies, negotiation with national/international suppliers
Intermediate proficiency in MS Office Suite and SAP required; Ariba experience is a plus
Technical knowledge in the following areas: purchasing and contracting processes; evaluation of results of the purchasing process; negotiation techniques; suppliers management; bidding processes and project management
Experience with purchasing up to $500, 000 for a specific geography and/or multiple companies required
