As a Fleet Operations Manager, your goal will be to manage the fleet assigned to the Infrastructure department, overseeing the maintenance workshop operations of the contracts and analyzing the optimal fleet solutions for the business, in close coordination with the business lines and the Procurement department. Some support for the Oil & Gas business could be required.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Produce the action plan needed to accomplish the goals defined in the strategy lines for fleet management.
Oversee the operations at the varied contract maintenance workshops.
Assist Procurement in identifying and finalizing modifications to the standard fleet specifications required for specific contracts.
Support the production of routine and ad hoc maintenance plans for the contracts.
Establish, in coordination with the Project Managers, the main priorities for the contract maintenance workshops.
Capture, analyze and use the data available to take more educated decision over fleet management.
Establish and report on fleet operations metrics.
Facilitate compliance with Company policies regarding preventative maintenance, equipment/vehicle hour/mileage reporting, asset inspections, etc.
Promote programs to evaluate driver behaviors, providing solutions for better usage of the fleet.
Monitor and ensure fleet operation in compliance with the implementing legislation and regulations, as well as all Company safety policies and procedures, including use of Telematics devices, performing DOT audits, verifying information needed for IFTA and HVUT filings, etc.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
At least 3-5 years of experience in fleet management.
Road maintenance experience will be positively considered.
Demonstrated management experience, especially with staff in different geographic locations.
Degree in one of the following disciplines: Engineering / Transportation Management / Industrial, Fleet Management or Analysis, which demonstrates the ability to perform this role.
Willing and able to fulfill travel requirement (40% - mainly across the U.S. And Canada)
Fluent in data analysis, using data base management tools, Excel, SharePoint and similar.
